Khoai lang bào vỏ, cắt miếng vừa ăn, rửa sạch. Cho khoai vào chảo hoặc nồi lớn, chế nước cho sâm sấp khoai, bắt lên bếp nấu nửa lớn, đến khi nước trong chảo sôi, hạ lửa vừa, nấu cho đến khi khoai vừa mềm, trút khoai ra rổ cho ráo nước.
Đặt chảo trở lên bếp, để lửa vừa. Cho 45g bơ vào chảo cho bơ tan, kế đến cho đường và 120ml nước và 2 muỗng cà phê bột quế vào chảo, trộn đều cho đường tan thì cho khoai vào.
Trộn nhẹ và đều tay cho đến khi đường sánh lại thì tắt bếp.
Cho hỗn hợp khoai vào vĩ nướng, Rãi đều marshmallow lên trên khoai, nướng trong lò khoảng 10 phút ở 180 độ C cho đến khi marshmallow tan và vàng đều.
