Salad cá tái chanh là một món dễ ăn, ít béo, phái nữ ăn không sợ tăng cân; mấy anh chàng thì cũng có thể lai rai cùng một vài lon bia. Làm món ăn chơi hoặc ăn với cơm cũng đều thích hợp.
Hấp, luộc hoặc nướng chín bắp Mỹ rồi bào lấy hạt, để riêng sang 1 bên. Hành tây bóc vỏ, thái sợi. Bơ lột vỏ, cắt hạt lựu. Phi lê cá (tốt nhất là dùng cá thịt trắng: cá phi, cá diêu hồng, cá bơn,...) bỏ da, rửa sạch, thái hạt lựu như bơ.
Chanh vắt lấy nước cốt, bỏ hạt nếu có, cho vào tô cùng hành tây và muối. Cho cá vào, khuấy đều sao cho cá tẩm đều nước cốt chanh. Đậy tô hỗn hợp lại và để tủ lạnh trong 15-30 phút cho cá đục lại. Sau khoảng 15 phút ngâm cá, bạn nhớ lấy tô ra, đảo cá một lần rồi cho lại vào tủ lạnh.
Khi cá đã sẵn sàng, bạn lấy cá ra, trộn đều với bơ, bắp Mỹ, ngò rí băm. Bạn có thể chắt bớt nước chanh của cá ra ngay từ đầu nếu thấy quá chua, nêm nếm lại theo khẩu vị của gia đình nữa nhé.
